The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed WestWood momentarily.

WestWood shoots in and bounces Robinson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
WestWood controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robinson wants to sweep here but WestWood controlling him for the moment.
WestWood advances position into side control!
WestWood trying to control the action but Robinson is working from the bottom.

WestWood is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
WestWood will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
WestWood has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Clinkz WestWood just wasn't active enough.
WestWood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robinson pinned against the cage. Robinson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
John Robinson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

WestWood shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Robinson is trying to defend but WestWood finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
