And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas looks to land a combination but Motaro avoids it well.
Motaro avoids the body shot from Thomas.
Motaro connects with a body shot.
Motaro shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Motaro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thomas.
A shot to the body from Thomas misses
and Motaro counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Thomas thinking.
Motaro just misses with a punch to the body.
Thomas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Motaro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thomas finds it's way round the side to connect with Motaro's head.
Motaro takes one on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Motaro slips under a jab from Thomas.
Thomas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Julian Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Motaro bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Motaro. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thomas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Motaro manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas looks to score with a jab to the body but Motaro is just out of range.
Thomas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Motaro.

and Motaro counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Motaro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Motaro pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Motaro catches Thomas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Motaro throws a solid leg kick but Thomas takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Motaro.
Motaro throws out a loose jab but Thomas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thomas is looking to wear down Motaro with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Thomas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Motaro's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas misses the shot to the body.
Motaro lands a big right hand that sends Thomas crashing to the mat! Motaro stays standing though and waves Thomas back to his feet!
Thomas is rocked!
Motaro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Motaro throws a shot from downtown. Thomas moves away and avoids it.
Motaro knocks out Thomas with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Motaro before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Motaro picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Macros Motaro!
