Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bowman Rook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaito Rin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rin's choice of entrance music: Tracktor Bowling - Scars. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kaito Rin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bowman Rook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaito Rin!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Rook looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rin throws a lazy right hand but Rook sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rook tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Rin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rook manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rin has Rook in his guard.

My spies in Silent Hill MMA Academy inform me that Rin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Rin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rin lands a nice short elbow.
Rin is keen to just control but Rook is a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
