Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emiliano Zapata Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar has chosen Mariachi as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bones tries to keep at a distance but Salazar has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice uppercut lands for Salazar. That snapped Bones's head back.
Bones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Salazar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bones.
Salazar jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Salazar connects with a jab.
A left lands for Salazar.
Salazar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bones on the side of the head.
Salazar looks to land a combination. Bones sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Salazar has closed the distance and engaged Bones in a clinch.
Bones misses with some punches.
Salazar lands an uppercut.
Salazar swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Bones breaks from the clinch.
Bones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Salazar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bones circles away quickly and effectively.
Salazar feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boness jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Salazar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bones momentarily.
Salazar cracks Bones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Salazar lands a lovely overhand right.
Salazar cracks Bones with an open hand slap.
Salazar looks winded!
Salazar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bones.
Salazar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bones manages to avoid it.
Salazar throws a body punch but Bones moves out of range.
Salazar tries to bum rush Bones with a series of wild strikes but Bones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bones throws a right hand that Salazar ducks under and follows up with a left that Salazar also avoids with ease.
A combination from Bones does no damage.

Salazar throws a series of strikes that have Bones backpedaling.
Salazar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bones throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Salazar counters with a nice uppercut.
Salazar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Salazar uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bones has time to react.
Salazar slips under a jab.

Bones drives through with a takedown into Salazar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bones is in close to Salazar's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Bones engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Bones stands up over Salazar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Mario Bones will probably get the nod.

Bones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Salazar is breathing heavily.

Bones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Salazar quickly recovers to half guard.
Salazar scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bones manages to mount him!
Bones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Bones is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Bones lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Salazar! Bones sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Salazar and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
