The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Angulo counters with a nice uppercut.

Angulo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Angulo gets through Vitor's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A right hook to the body lands for Angulo.
A nice left hand lands by Angulo.

Angulo drops Vitor with a big right hand! Angulo charges in looking to finish - Vitor manages to keep Angulo in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.

Vitor is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Angulo wants to stand but Vitor has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Oh Vitor is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Angulo is posturing up here but Vitor has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Angulo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Angulo has to tap! Slick submission there by Vitor!

A determined Vic Vitor didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
