The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Torino shoots for a takedown but Morrison saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Morrison stuffs the takedown.
A big left from Torino misses.
Torino tries to clinch but Morrison moves away

and Morrison counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Torino manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morrison manages to get himself to full guard.
Torino loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Torino not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Torino throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Morrison works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Torino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Morrison wants to sweep here but Torino controlling him for the moment.
Torino chips away with some ground and pound.

Morrison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Torino is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torino throws a big elbow that misses.
Torino passes Morrison's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Torino looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morrison with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

BOOM! Torino connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Torino lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Morrison is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Torino cracks Morrison with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Torino connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Morrison is rocked!
Torino postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Morrison bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Torino and the fight is over!
