Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uther Champy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Sergienko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Champy comes to the cage accompanied by Cage the Elephant - Ain't No Rest for the Wicked. Andrei Sergienko has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Uther Champy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Uther Champy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Sergienko!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sergienko felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've been hearing good reports from Champy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Sergienko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Champy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sergienko has managed to get both his arms back between Champy's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Uther Champy will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sergienko postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Champy out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Sergienko goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Andrei Sergienko!
