Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Gannicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badboy Aung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Badboy Aung!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aung fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gannicus to the ground. Aung is now in Gannicus's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gannicus keeping full guard, as Aung tries to pass.
Aung trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Aung has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gannicus is proving hard to escape from.
Aung seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Badboy Aung was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Aung stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gannicus.

A nice leg kick lands there from Gannicus.
Gannicus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aung.

Aung throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gannicus tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Aung is in Gannicus's guard.

Aung is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Aung shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Gannicus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aung's guard.
Aung takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Aung drives through and clinches with Gannicus against the cage.

Gannicus is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Aung is looking to break free of the clinch but Gannicus has double underhooks.

Gannicus is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gannicus has a couple of punches blocked by Aung.

Aung pulls guard.

Aung is looking for a triangle but Gannicus pushes his legs off easily.
Gannicus wants to control from the top but Aung keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gannicus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aung swivels though and keeps the full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcus Gannicus.
Well Aung has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
