The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davisdon tries to land a front kick but Artleby steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Davisdon misses with a two punch combination.
Artleby is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davisdon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Artleby gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Artleby is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Davisdon gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Artleby. Davisdon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Artleby looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davisdon is fending him off so far but Artleby persists. Nope, Davisdon circles away and we're back to standing.
Dave Davisdon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Artleby.

Davisdon tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Artleby manages to move to mount!
Artleby cracks Davisdon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Artleby blocks Davisdon's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Artleby lands a big elbow.
Artleby lands a couple of good shots and Davisdon has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The referee is taking a good look at Davisdon as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Artleby!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Artleby drops a big shot to the side of Davisdon's head! Oh, Davisdon is out! He's out cold! Artleby jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner. In his post fight interview he thanks God. Saying that without him, he wouldn't have the power to knock his opponent senseless. Amen.
