The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Castillo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Castillo pushes Solomen up against the cage in a clinch.
Solomen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Castillo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Solomen jumps guard but Castillo stands there with Solomen around his waist. Solomen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Solomen tries to pull guard but Castillo holds him up against the cage and eventually Solomen drops back down to his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Castillo's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Solomen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Castillo but Castillo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oh Solomen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Castillo tries to land a front kick but Solomen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Solomen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castillo manages to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Castillo steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Solomen is out on his feet! Castillo sets himself and nearly takes Solomen's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
