Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Godsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Guillet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godsey comes to the cage accompanied by It's Raining Men. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guillet tries for a takedown but Godsey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A jab from Godsey finds it's way through Guillet's defenses.

Godsey gets the takedown into side control.
Guillet tries to buck Godsey off but Godsey is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Godsey postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Godsey scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Guillet to see if he's OK.
Godsey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guillet on the ground.

Godsey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
