Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royler Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Greco Roman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royler Bot!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Roman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bot swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Greco Roman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Roman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bot drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Roman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bot has Roman in his guard.

Roman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bot's guard.
Roman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bot is staying active underneath Roman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bot makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bot.

Bot lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roman!

Bot takes Roman's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Roman is in trouble.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bot seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Roman's chin but Roman turns very nicely into Bot's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Roman.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roman defends it easily.

Bot is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Roman defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Bot has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Roman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Roman rolls, trying to escape but Bot keeps control of the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Roman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bot goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Roman escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Bot can't keep his opponent in guard - Roman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Roman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bot doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roman.

That was a close round but I would say that Greco Roman will probably get the nod.

Bot is trying hard to land a takedown here. Roman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Roman goes for a double leg but Bot avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Bot continues to drive forward.

In his post fight interview, Greco Roman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
