Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mookie Hamfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Speakman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Speakman will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamfist misses with the combination.
Hamfist shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Speakman pinned against the cage. Speakman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hamfist closes the distance and clinches up with Speakman, looking for a takedown. Hamfist pushes Speakman against the cage but Speakman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Speakman fails to land with a series of punches.
Hamfist looks to land a combination but Speakman avoids it well.

Speakman gets caught flat footed, as Hamfist shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hamfist drops back looking for a leg! Speakman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Speakman manages to kick Hamfist off! Hamfist jumps back into Speakman's guard.

Hamfist stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Speakman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Hamfist's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Mookie Hamfist will probably get the nod.

Speakman shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Hamfist takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Speakman sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Hamfist bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
