Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luca Carmine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javier Melendez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Melendez or perhaps it was just good defense by Carmine which made him look bad.
Carmine lands a nice shot that snaps Melendez's head back.
Melendez shoots in looking for a takedown but Carmine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Melendez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
