Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chevy Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nguyen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing in the name. Hammer has chosen Bolt Thrower - IV Crusade as his entrance music. Chevy Nguyen has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen takes a kick to the side of the head.
Hammer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hammer swings for the body but Nguyen moves out of range.
Hammer connects with a leg kick. Nguyen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hammer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Nguyen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Nguyen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hammer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nguyen stuns Hammer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Nguyen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hammer.

Nguyen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hammer did well to prevent Nguyen getting side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nguyen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hammer is looking to escape.
Hammer tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Nguyen winds up and cracks Hammer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer has a hand on Nguyen's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Nguyen takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Hammer is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nguyen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
