The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Ripper throws a combination that misses
and Bartings counters with a big head kick but The Ripper shrugs it off.
Bartings gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and The Ripper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The Ripper shoots in and gets a takedown into Bartings 's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The Ripper has gone for a leg lock! Bartings slips out almost immediately though and dives into The Ripper's guard.

Bartings drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bartings jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jack The Ripper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bartings gets caught flat footed, as The Ripper shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The Ripper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bartings moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The Ripper closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bartings quickly recovers to half guard.
Bartings pushes The Ripper off and gets back to his feet.
The Ripper connects with a nice looking jab.

Bartings is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bartings is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but The Ripper pulls his head out easily.

The Ripper remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
