Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gilbert.
Gilbert shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chabal counters with a good, hard body kick but Gilbert shrugs it off.
Chabal slaps away a takedown attempt from Gilbert, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sebastien Chabal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Gilbert.
Gilbert fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chabal avoids it really well and circles away.

Gilbert throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chabal was covering up waiting for the punch and Gilbert finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gilbert is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chabal is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chabal has escaped and now he's on top!

Our spies down at at Hilo Training Center inform us that Gilbert has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Gilbert in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Chabal is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
