Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Rando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Macready (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macready comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AWOLNATION - SAIL kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Damon Macready acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macready throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Macready has closed the distance and engaged Rando in a clinch.

Macready breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Macready is looking to land body kicks.

Rando looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Macready!
Rando creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Macready sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Rando lands a nice forearm strike.
Rando in side control, throwing shots but Macready defends.
Rando sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Macready is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Macready tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Macready struggling a bit here.
Rando tries to score with some ground and pound. Macready controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Rando has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Macready tries to escape but Rando is in control.
Macready is looking to regain half guard here but Rando keeps moving and retains side control.
Rando misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Rando throws an elbow but Macready slips to the side and avoids it well.
Rando tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Macready bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rando's guard.
Macready tries to stand but Rando is controlling from the bottom.

Macready stands up from Rando's guard - Macready perhaps looking for a knockout.
Rando misses with an attempted mid kick.
Damon Macready is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Macready lands a jab to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Macready lunges at Rando with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rando's hand.
Macready throws a leg kick which misses Rando's front leg but catches the back leg as Rando tries to avoid it.
Rando definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Macready throws a head kick but Rando moves out of range.
Rando dodges the punch combination from Macready.
Macready will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rando tries to score a power double leg takedown but Macready sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rando somewhat.
Macready is looking to land body kicks.
Macready scores with a shot to the body.
Macready tests Rando's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rando takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rando is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Macready, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rando takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Macready cracks Rando with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Macready misses with a head kick.
Macready is looking to clinch but Rando is avoiding it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Macready!
A lazy left from Macready finds it's target.

Rando is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Macready lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Rando is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Macready cracks Rando on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rando falls backwards against the cage. Macready follows up with more strikes that drop Rando to his knees. Macready keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rando! This one is all over!
