Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hector Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Cooler Than Me by Mike Posner. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rice walks into a left hand.

It looks like Mike Rice has been cut.
Rice thows a left - swing and a miss!
A big left from Ramirez misses.
Rice throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ramirez throws a shot from downtown. Rice moves away and avoids it.
Nice cross by Ramirez.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A jab from Ramirez misses.
Ramirez misses with an uppercut. Rice saw that one coming.
Ramirez throws an overhand right that lands on Rice's shoulder, as Rice tries to avoid the shot.
Rice misses with a few strikes there.
Rice throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rice swinging wildly here.
Rice pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rice fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ramirez manages to avoid it.
Ramirez dodges the punch combination from Rice.
A jab from Ramirez misses.
Ramirez looks to land a right hand but Rice moved out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramirez lands with a cross.
Rice tries to land a front kick but Ramirez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ramirez gets in close and tags Rice with a short punch that almost sends Rice to the mat! Oh Rice is in big trouble! He turns his back on Ramirez, trying to create some distance but Ramirez rushes him, striking wildly and Rice goes down! The referee tackles Ramirez into the cage to end the fight! Ramirez is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Ramirez!
Hector Ramirez tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
