Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sly Guy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy tries to close the distance and clinch but Parker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Guy doesn't manage to clinch there - Parker circles away.
Sly Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Parker counters with a single leg into guard. Guy didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Parker connects with a nice short shot to Guy's temple.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Parker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Parker throws a strike but Guy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

and Parker counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Guy!
Guy regains half guard there - taking advantage of Parker's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
