The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin misses with a looping right.
Cigan wants to clinch up but Martin keeps it at a distance.
Martin connects with a jab.

It looks like Djadjo Cigan has been cut.
Martin motions for Cigan to come forward. Martin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Martin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Martin cracks Cigan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Keith Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Martin lands a left and a right that send Cigan crashing to the mat, dazed. Martin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Cigan is rocked!
Martin throws a shot from downtown. Cigan moves away and avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cigan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Martin misses with a head kick.
Martin throws a hook to the side of Cigan's head but Cigan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cigan darts in and clinches Martin up against the cage.

Martin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Martin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cigan.

Martin feints a jab promting Cigan to slip. Martin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cigan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Cigan walks into a straight right hand from Martin.

Cigan wants to clinch up but Martin keeps it at a distance.
Cigan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Martin lands with an uppercut that bounces Cigan off the cage and back into range.
Martin lands the left hand.
Donk. Martin catches Cigan right on the button with a cross.
Cigan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Martin throws a series of punches but Cigan avoids them all with ease.
Cigan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Martin to score with a decent uppercut.

Djadjo Cigan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Martin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cigan is able to avoid easily.
Cigan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Martin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cigan's head backwards.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cigan checks a leg kick.

A shot to the liver by Martin. Beautiful body shot.
Cigan tries for a takedown but Martin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cigan is breathing heavily.
Martin lands a nice hook to Cigan's body. Cigan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cigan misses with a looping right.
Cigan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cigan walks into a left hand.

Martin cracks Cigan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Martin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cigan to stand back up!
Oh Cigan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Djadjo Cigan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Martin weaves into range and cracks Cigan right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Cigan goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Martin is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keith Martin!
