Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snow Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maukka Moukuttaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crash kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Take The Rock - King Cannons. Moukuttaja has chosen Born to be alive as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Snow Crash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maukka Moukuttaja!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crash darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Moukuttaja wants to control but Crash is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Crash lands with a punch from half guard.
Crash trying to advance position but Moukuttaja counters by regaining guard.

Moukuttaja is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Crash presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Crash can't break the clinch.
Moukuttaja has Crash pressed against the cage, preventing Crash from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A frustrated look appears on Crash's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moukuttaja tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A right hand to the body from Crash.
Moukuttaja is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Crash has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Crash tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Moukuttaja's elbow.

Moukuttaja lands with a light punch inside.
Crash wants to break the clinch but can't.
Crash wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Crash trying to stall but Moukuttaja improves his position.
Crash wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Moukuttaja has him pressed against the cage.
Crash working hard to break the clinch.

and Moukuttaja counters with a thumping low kick.

Crash closes the distance and clinches.

Moukuttaja breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Snow Crash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crash misses with a left hand
and Moukuttaja makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moukuttaja fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Crash on the side of the head.
Both fighters circling a little - Crash finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

and Moukuttaja counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Crash misses with a body shot.
Crash fails with a takedown attempt.
Crash tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moukuttaja defends well and Crash ends up having to push Moukuttaja into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Crash breaks from the clinch.
Moukuttaja bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Moukuttaja is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Moukuttaja slips under a jab.
Crash moves forwards but Moukuttaja connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crash tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moukuttaja sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crash somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snow Crash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moukuttaja avoids the body shot from Crash.
Moukuttaja connects with an inside leg kick.
A head kick by Crash misses
and Moukuttaja makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Crash is breathing heavily.

Moukuttaja clinches up against the cage.
Moukuttaja lands an uppercut.
A shot in the inside from Moukuttaja.
Moukuttaja lands a nice uppercut.
Moukuttaja tries to work over Crash's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Moukuttaja is trying to maintain a safe position but Crash gets an underhook and turns Moukuttaja into the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Moukuttaja - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A short body shot lands from Moukuttaja as the two fighters clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Still in the clinch, Moukuttaja scores with a nice short uppercut.


Crash is rocked!
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Crash looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Moukuttaja's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Crash misses with a wild combination.
Moukuttaja fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Crash to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Crash looks to clinch but Moukuttaja throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Crash taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Maukka Moukuttaja!
An out of breath Maukka Moukuttaja thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
