Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franky Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Beast has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franky Train!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Beast!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Beast looks to clinch

and Train counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Train is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Beast doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Train.
Beast regains full guard. Nicely done.
Train passes Beast's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Train tries to pass to full mount but Beast defends it.
Beast is looking to control Train's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Beast avoid being mounted?

Beast is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Train pulls his head out easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Train is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Train scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Train seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beast does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Beast is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Train moves out of range as Beast throws a body kick.

Billy Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Train fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Beast avoids it really well and circles away.

Train drives through and clinches with Beast against the cage.

Train is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Beast reverses the position - he's now on top in Train's guard.

Train seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Train here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Train shoots for a takedown but Beast saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Beast throws a leg kick but Train moved away.
Beast is looking to clinch but Train is avoiding it.
Beast stalks Train and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Train's face. Train staggers backwards, shaken.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Train wants to control but Beast is keeping him busy.

Beast misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Beast is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Train's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Train's back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Train is trying to get back to his feet but Beast has full control of the position and if anything, Train has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Train might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Train controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Train trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

That was a close second round but I would say that Franky Train will probably get the nod.

Train shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beast defends it nicely.
Beast dives in for a single leg takedown but Train sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Train breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Beast tries to clinch but Train is having none of it.
Train tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Beast defends well and Train ends up having to push Beast into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Train wants to take the fight to the mat but Beast manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franky Train. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beast has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Train is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Beast is pressed up against the cage. Train has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beast down to the mat. Beast avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Franky Train overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beast tries to kick Train off in order to stand up. Train Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Train wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beast keeps working.
Train landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Train lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Train remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Train working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Train, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
