Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage has chosen Bon Jovi - It's my life as his entrance music. Jackson Savage is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Briggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Savage!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage slaps away a takedown attempt from Briggs, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Savage shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Briggs sprawls well. Briggs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Savage gets slowly back to his feet.

Savage rushes Briggs and presses him up against the cage.

Savage manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Briggs avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Briggs passes Savage's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Savage wants to improve his position but Briggs is controlling well.

Savage tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Savage has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Briggs holds on and takes a little breather.
Briggs looking to hit a scissor sweep but Savage is one step ahead there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Briggs is on top in guard.
Savage manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Briggs wants to control but Savage is having none of it.

and Savage counters with a head kick. That will keep Briggs thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Jackson Savage is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Briggs pushes down on Savage's leg and manages to get into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Jackson Savage.
I've got Savage winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
