The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Gray moves out of range as Hazlehurst strikes.
Hazlehurst scores with a punch to the head.
Hazlehurst cracks Gray with an open hand slap.
Gray takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hazlehurst throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gray.
No joy there for Hazlehurst, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hazlehurst misses with an uppercut

and Gray counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Gray throws a big elbow that misses.
Gray prevents Hazlehurst from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gray has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Daniel Hazlehurst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hazlehurst throws an overhand right that lands on Gray's shoulder, as Gray tries to avoid the shot.

Hazlehurst swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gray tries to clinch but Hazlehurst is having none of it.

and Hazlehurst counters with a three punch combo that has Gray backing up. Gray nods at Hazlehurst to acknowledge the strikes.

Hazlehurst fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gray to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gray looks to clinch but Hazlehurst throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gray taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
