Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emiliano Zapata Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Mephisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Salazar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mariachi. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Mephisto tries to clinch but Salazar is having none of it.

Salazar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Salazar looks to land a combination. Mephisto sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mephisto throws a right hand that misses
and Salazar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice straight punches there by Salazar. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Salazar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mephisto throws a wild hook but Salazar just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Mephisto gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Salazar raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

In his post fight interview, Emiliano Zapata Salazar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
