Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hu Kokov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bad Religion!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Religion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kokov's waist but Kokov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Religion off to one side.

Kokov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Kokov postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kokov postures up and lands a big shot to Religion's brow.
Kokov stands up over Religion, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kokov is working Religion over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kokov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Religion is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kokov defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kokov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We're going to have a standup here because Hu Kokov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Kokov has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Religion is trying to keep an underhook but Kokov manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kokov lands a nice short elbow.

Religion has a hand on Kokov's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kokov takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Religion is desperately trying to improve his position but Kokov has a good base and remains in mount.

Kokov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Religion can't escape the position.

Religion is rocked!

Kokov unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Religion wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Kokov celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

A relieved looking Hu Kokov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
