Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasi Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Yurinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yurinov has chosen DJ Vadim - The Terrorist as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Yurinov!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukko misses with a hook. Yurinov ducked under it nicely.
A slapping leg kick lands for Yurinov.
Kukko getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kukko jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kukko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kukko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kukko showed some decent athleticism there.
Kukko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kukko trying to control from half guard but Yurinov is working away.
Kukko slips a nice elbow through Yurinov's hands, connecting with Yurinov's forehead.
Yurinov is refusing to be controlled, as Kukko sits in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kukko works his foot free and advances to mount.
Yurinov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kukko with a couple of short strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kukko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kukko has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Kukko wants to control the pace but Yurinov is squirming around nicely.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee warns Yurinov that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kukko unloads with some shots from mount but Yurinov bucks and avoids them well.
Kukko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yurinov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Yurinov is squirming around, avoiding Kukko's attempts to control the action.
Yurinov is bucking up trying to escape but Kukko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Kukko! Yurinov is hurt baaadly! Kukko is firing away with more strikes - Yurinov is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
