The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willems bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kawasaki's head.
Willems lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kawasaki shoots for a double leg takedown but Willems sprawls well. He's pushed Kawasaki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kawasaki tries to move into range but Willems moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kawasaki is rocked!

It looks like Lee Kawasaki has been cut.
Kawasaki seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lyle Willems seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kawasaki glances at the clock... BAM! Willems nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Kawasaki crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Kawasaki is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
