The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Acosta misses.
Acosta clobbers Hanson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Acosta throws a right and a left that both miss.
Acosta fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Acosta scores with the left hand. Hanson knows he should have avoided that one.
Acosta ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Acosta digs a good hook to Hanson's body.
Acosta throws a right hand that Hanson ducks under and follows up with a left that Hanson also avoids with ease.
Acosta throws a series of punches but Hanson avoids them all with ease.

Hanson dodges the punch combination from Acosta.
Acosta scores with a sloppy right hand. Hanson should have avoided that one.
Acosta scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Acosta fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hanson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Acosta misses with a double jab

and Hanson counters with a shoot takedown. Acosta fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hanson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Acosta is keeping the position for now.

Acosta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hanson defends well.

Hanson has gone for a leg lock! Acosta slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hanson's guard.
Acosta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hanson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Acosta avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Acosta chips away with some ground and pound.
Acosta wants to control from the top but Hanson keeps moving.

Hanson has his feet on Acosta's thighs here. He's pushed Acosta off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Acosta screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
