Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jovon Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Sober by Tool. Chambers has chosen Carmen Gray-Gates of Loneliness as his entrance music. Jovon Chambers has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chambers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Davis to the ground. Chambers is now in Davis's guard.
Davis keeping moving, preventing Chambers from controlling successfully.
Chambers looking to sit in guard and control but Davis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Davis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chambers is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Davis, into his guard.

Davis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Chambers's guard. Nice work there by Davis.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Davis will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chambers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davis but Davis pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Chambers might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Davis haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Chambers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Chambers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
