The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith slips a jab from Brit.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brit as he jumps to the side.
Brit misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Smith catches Brit with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Smith connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Brit momentarily.

It looks like Johnny Brit has been cut.
Smith blocks a jab.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brit swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brit manages to avoid it.
Smith lunges at Brit with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brit's hand.

Brit wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Brit breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brit avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brit has time to react.

Smith throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brit tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smith is in Brit's guard.
