Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Zambidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Halliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 10 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mickey Halliday!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zambidis misses with a kick to the body.
Halliday clinches up against the cage.
Zambidis is trying to push Halliday away but Halliday has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Halliday pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Zambidis misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Zambidis, right into the meat.
Halliday avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Halliday ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Zambidis attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Zambidis slips a straight right by Halliday.
A jab from Halliday does it's job there.
It looks like Mike Zambidis has been cut.
Halliday lands with a slapping head kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zambidis swats away the attempt to clinch by Halliday.
Mickey Halliday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zambidis tries to keep at a distance but Halliday has taken the fight into the clinch.
Halliday manages to break the clinch.
Zambidis throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zambidis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Halliday.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Halliday pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Halliday will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zambidis looks to land a combination but Halliday avoids it well.
Zambidis on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Zambidis takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zambidis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Halliday.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Halliday misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zambidis throws a nice looking combination but Halliday bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Halliday tries to bum rush Zambidis with a series of wild strikes but Zambidis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Halliday looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Halliday drops Zambidis with a left right combo! Halliday follows him down to the ground into side control.
Zambidis is rocked!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Halliday stands up.
Oh Zambidis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zambidis looks up at the clock. Bad move! Halliday lands a right hand from hell, dropping Zambidis. Halliday pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey Halliday!
