The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegasus fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pegasus throws a head kick that half lands.
Couture shoots in and drives through. Pegasus sprawls well.

Pegasus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Pegasus wriggles free and stands up.

Pegasus clinches up against the ropes.
The is referee keeping an eye on Pegasus - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Couture drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pegasus pulls his leg out and moves away.
Couture keeps the fight on the outside.
Pegasus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pegasus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dexter Pegasus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Couture.
Couture shoots for a takedown but Pegasus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Couture has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Pegasus is trying to stand up.

Couture misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Couture prevents Pegasus from getting the reversal.
Couture throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pegasus because Couture loaded up on that one.
Pegasus is looking to improve his position but Couture isn't that keen on the idea.

Pegasus wants to hold on but Couture pushes him away.
Pegasus is trying to stand.
BOOM! Couture connects with a massive shot to the dome!
