The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulot tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice sprawl there from Kulot as Yaj shoots in.
Yaj explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Xia Yaj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kulot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yaj on the ground.

Yaj throws a right and a left that Kulot avoids nicely.

Yaj shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kulot's guard.

Yaj is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yaj connects with a nice short shot to Kulot's temple.
