The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keef leaves Vjadenek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Keef keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vjadenek looks for a takedown but Keef sprawls well.

Keef shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vjadenek manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Keef drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vjadenek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vjadenek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vjadenek!
You can see the frustration on Keef's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Vjadenek has hold of Keef's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Keef tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vjadenek cranks the arm and Keef screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Keef, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
