Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ahmad zinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Mess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mess shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mess showed some decent athleticism there.
zinger trying to control but Mess postures up.
Mess tries to pass to full mount but zinger defends it.

Mess seems to be looking for submissions.
Mess trying to pass the guard but zinger defending well.
Mess throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Mess is working for a kimura but zinger is defending it quite comfortably.
zinger has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mess is working away from the top position though.

zinger regains full guard. Nicely done.

Mess avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
zinger controls Mess momentarily but Mess frees himself.

zinger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mess doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mess manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
zinger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
zinger is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mess tries to free his leg and advance position but zinger is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
You can see the frustration on zinger's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mess frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Mess is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! zinger is forced to tap! Great finish!
