Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Giovanni Niccoli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitkhun Chakraborti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chakraborti is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Marilyn manson - The fight song. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chakraborti misses with a body kick.
Chakraborti pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Chakraborti blocks a low kick nicely.
Niccoli connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Niccoli bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chakraborti's head backwards.
Chakraborti moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Chakraborti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A lazy left from Niccoli finds it's target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No joy there for Chakraborti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Niccoli dodges the punch combination from Chakraborti.
Chakraborti lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Giovanni Niccoli has been cut.
Chakraborti checks a low kick from Niccoli.

Good exchange - Niccoli coming out on top.

Chakraborti thuds his right hand into Niccoli's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Chakraborti thows a body kick. Niccoli tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Chakraborti throws a leg kick which misses Niccoli's front leg but catches the back leg as Niccoli tries to avoid it.
Niccoli pivots, looking for a leg kick but Chakraborti is out of range and Niccoli settles back down.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Chakraborti - that will leave a mark!
Niccoli is breathing heavily.
OH! Niccoli has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Chakraborti smells blood and charges in for the finish! Chakraborti unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Niccoli sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
