PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinten Shadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Razormind Remix. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Quinten Shadows!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadows fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cox swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Cox has Shadows up against the cage in a clinch.
Cox tries to score a body lock takedown but Shadows shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Cox lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Cox is trying to trip Shadows. He has hold of a leg but Shadows is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cox persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Cox has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Shadows stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shadows wants it to stay on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jesse Cox will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cox, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Jesse Cox misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
