Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tessie. Rick Ross will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Murphy misses with a looping right.

Murphy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Murphy content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murphy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Murphy stands and throws Ross's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ross is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Murphy has an Americana. Ross didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Murphy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Murphy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

After winning the bout, Pete Murphy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
