The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickoson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nickoson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Varjo tries to improve position but can't.
Varjo holds on to Nickoson's head and controls the position momentarily.
Nickoson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Varjo keeps working.
The strikes coming from Nickoson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Nickoson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Varjo tries to bench press Nickoson off him but Nickoson keeps the position.
Nickoson has hold of Varjo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Varjo seems comfortable defending it but Nickoson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Varjo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Varjo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nickoson couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A relieved looking Anthony Nickoson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
