Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lotus Suzinuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartosz Gajtkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gajtkowski misses with a double jab
and Suzinuki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gajtkowski tries to bum rush Suzinuki with a series of wild strikes but Suzinuki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Suzinuki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Suzinuki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Suzinuki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Suzinuki has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gajtkowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suzinuki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gajtkowski has his foot on Suzinuki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Suzinuki works his way back into a safe position though.

Suzinuki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gajtkowski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suzinuki connects with a nice short shot to Gajtkowski's temple.

Gajtkowski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Suzinuki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Suzinuki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gajtkowski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Suzinuki.
