Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Wimpy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wimpy looks for a takedown but Hardy sprawls well.
Wimpy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kevin Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy takes a swing at Wimpy's ribcage but misses.
Wimpy closes the distance and clinches up with Hardy, looking for a takedown. Wimpy pushes Hardy against the cage but Hardy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hardy throws a body punch but Wimpy moves out of range.

Wimpy shoots in and bounces Hardy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hardy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wimpy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hardy.

Hardy throws a combination that misses
and Wimpy counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hardy is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Wimpy shoots in for a takedown but Hardy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wimpy has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hardy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wimpy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hardy has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hardy is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Mano`s Elite BJJ Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Wimpy is riding his opponent, not letting Hardy buck him off.

Hardy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Wimpy jumps into guard, dragging Hardy to the mat.
Hardy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wimpy has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hardy is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Wimpy gets control of Hardy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wimpy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hardy stands up over Wimpy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
