De Morcerf comes into the arena with The Bastard's Song blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Albert De Morcerf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Morcerf blocks a jab.

so Stone counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Stone controlling from the top position.
Stone stands up over De Morcerf, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
De Morcerf wants to get back to his feet but Stone is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
De Morcerf has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Stone postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Stone controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
De Morcerf wants to get back to his feet but Stone is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Stone throws an elbow that misses. De Morcerf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stone's guard. Nice move by De Morcerf!
Stone wants to sweep here but De Morcerf controlling him for the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryan Stone hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
De Morcerf tries to clinch but Stone moves away

and Stone counters with a takedown into side control.
Stone throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Stone tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

De Morcerf is looking to get back to his feet here but Stone is keeping cool and he's managed to take De Morcerf's back.
De Morcerf covering up well under a series of strikes from Stone.

Stone has De Morcerf flattened out and is raining down punches.
Stone thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Stone misses with punches from the back.
Stone punches the canvas rather than the man.

Stone working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but De Morcerf is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Stone has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! De Morcerf taps out!
