Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avon Stringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Lunar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stringer comes to the cage accompanied by The Loner. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Avon Stringer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucas Lunar!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stringer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A short uppercut from Lunar.

It looks like Avon Stringer has been cut.
Stringer lands a hook that snaps the head of Lunar backwards.
Lunar struggles to land a body shot inside as Stringer controls his hands.
Stringer doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Stringer blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lunar tries a body shot but Stringer blocks it.
Lunar cracks Stringer with a nice body shot.
Lunar misses with the head strike.
Lunar misses with a punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Stringer.

Stringer manages to break the clinch.
Lunar wants to clinch up but Stringer keeps it at a distance.
Stringer blocks a head kick by Lunar.
The fighters circling - Lunar throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Stringer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Stringer is keen to just control but Lunar is a slippery customer.
Stringer is really struggling to control Lunar but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stringer working the head and body with strikes.
Lunar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lunar.
Stringer scoring with punches to the head and body.
Stringer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lunar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stringer works over Lunar with some ground and pound from guard.
Lunar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lunar wants to stand but Stringer is controlling the position.

Lunar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stringer works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lunar tries to roll over but Stringer keeps him under control.
Lunar tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Stringer has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lunar is squirming around, avoiding Stringer's attempts to control the action.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stringer lands a heavy elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stringer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Stringer looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Lunar is rocked!

Stringer looking for a guillotine from mount but Lunar is having none of it.
Lunar is trying to stand.
Stringer lands a big elbow.
Lunar is still in real trouble! Can Stringer finish him?
Stringer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stringer postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Lunar badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Stringer around the waist but Stringer pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Stringer is the winner by TKO! Stringer jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
