PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maceo Sweetney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Crystal Blue Persuasion as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White drops his hands momentarily and Sweetney takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.
White passes Sweetney's left leg - he's now in half guard.
White throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
White passes the guard and advances to mount!
White cracks Sweetney with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White landing strikes from the mount and Sweetney is in trouble!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Sweetney has left one of his arms exposed and White doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Sweetney screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

In his post fight interview, Walter White started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
