Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maverick Smokeleaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smokeleaf has chosen LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers throws a leg kick which misses Smokeleaf's front leg but catches the back leg as Smokeleaf tries to avoid it.
Powers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smokeleaf moves away.
Powers throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Smokeleaf.

It looks like Maverick Smokeleaf has been cut.
Smokeleaf comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A low kick from Smokeleaf is predictable there
and Powers counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smokeleaf's knee momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Powers throws out a loose jab but Smokeleaf uses good head movement to avoid it.
Powers throws a leg kick but Smokeleaf sees it coming and moves out of range.
Smokeleaf swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Powers gets tackled into the cage by Smokeleaf. Smokeleaf maintains the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Smokeleaf swings wildly with an uppercut but Powers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Powers makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Smokeleaf using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Powers has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Powers creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Powers lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Smokeleaf misses with a knee strike.
Powers trying to stall but Smokeleaf improves his position.
Smokeleaf lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Powers backwards.

Smokeleaf wants to get back to striking at distance but Powers won't allow it.

Powers breaks the clinch.
Powers blocks a low kick nicely.
Powers feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Smokeleafs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

That has opened up Maverick Smokeleaf's cut even more.

Powers doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Powers lands with an uppercut that bounces Smokeleaf off the cage and back into range.
Powers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

A head kick misses from Smokeleaf.
Smokeleaf throws a low kick, looking for Powers's leg but Powers calmly moves out of range.
Powers looks to throw a body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Smokeleaf jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Smokeleaf takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Powers connects with a leg kick. Smokeleaf looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Smokeleaf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Powers.

Powers lands a big head kick that sends Smokeleaf tumbling to the mat! Powers takes a step backwards and waves Smokeleaf back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Powers walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Smokeleaf drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Powers swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Smokeleaf's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
