Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richard Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins comes into the arena with Prong - Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck blaring out of the sound system. Hunt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: London Calling. Silik Hunt has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt connects with a single shot there.
Hunt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dawkins throws a wild body kick that Hunt sees coming a mile off.
Dawkins fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hunt is out of range.
Hunt misses with a few strikes there.
A slow jab from Hunt misses its intended target.
Hunt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dawkins doesn't seem bothered though.
Dawkins punishes Hunt's body with a nice straight punch.
Hunt works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hunt throws an overhand right that lands on Dawkins's shoulder, as Dawkins tries to avoid the shot.

Hunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Silik Hunt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hunt moves away from the strike by Dawkins.
Hunt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hunt moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dawkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hunt cracks Dawkins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hunt will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Hunt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Dawkins is pushing down on Hunt's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hunt is fighting to maintain full guard but Dawkins has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hunt wants to control but Dawkins is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Dawkins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hunt is just riding it out for now. Dawkins eventually gives up the hold.

Dawkins has hold of Hunt's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hunt tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dawkins cranks the arm and Hunt screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hunt, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
