Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josepha Caron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think St Pierre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Make Smash Ya Tap!. Caron has chosen Gros Jambon as his entrance music. George St Pierre has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josepha Caron!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caron connects with a solid leg kick.
Caron tries to clinch but St Pierre is having none of it.
Caron lands a really nice looking cross but St Pierre seems unphased.
It looks like George St Pierre has been cut.
Caron lands a big head kick that sends St Pierre tumbling to the mat! Caron takes a step backwards and waves St Pierre back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Caron landing knees to the body.
Caron breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caron throws a head kick but St Pierre moves out of range.
St Pierre closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Caron quickly recovers to half guard.
St Pierre trying to control from Caron's half guard. Caron has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

St Pierre postures up in Caron's guard and throws a big left but Caron blocks it.
St Pierre throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Caron works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
St Pierre throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

St Pierre with a flurry of punches that miss.
St Pierre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Caron swivels though and keeps the full guard.
St Pierre advances position into side control!
St Pierre lands an elbow.
St Pierre in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
St Pierre working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Caron felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
St Pierre creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Caron sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Sloppy strikes there by St Pierre.
St Pierre will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
St Pierre in side control, throwing shots but Caron defends.
St Pierre tries to score with some ground and pound. Caron controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
St Pierre misses with the ground and pound.
St Pierre fails to land a wild elbow strike.
St Pierre looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Caron is avoiding damage well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
St Pierre misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
St Pierre is working to tighten his grip on Caron's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Caron has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but St Pierre is really squeezing tight and eventually Caron passes out! St Pierre breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
