The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du Plessis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Du Plessis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Du Plessis in particular looking to stall.

Greko is fighting off a takedown attempt but Du Plessis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Greko to the mat. Greko regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Du Plessis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Greko on the ground.

Du Plessis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Greko, up you get!
Du Plessis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Greko as he jumps to the side.

Du Plessis rushes Greko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Greko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Greko is looking for a sweep. Du Plessis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Du Plessis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Craig Du Plessis will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Du Plessis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Greko's guard.
Du Plessis wants to pass the guard but Greko is keeping the position.
Greko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Du Plessis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Du Plessis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Greko is looking for a sweep. Du Plessis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Greko wants to control but Du Plessis is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Du Plessis uses his free foot to push down on Greko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Greko.
Du Plessis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Du Plessis is working for a guillotine from mount but Greko frees his head quite easily.
Du Plessis unloads with some shots from mount but Greko bucks and avoids them well.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
